Stephanie Denise Suggs' Obituary
Stephanie Denise Suggs, 57, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2020 in a local hospital. She was a 1981 graduate of Brainerd High School. She was a member of Olivet Baptist Church. Stephanie was employed at Regions Bank as a Financial Relationship Specialist. She was preceded in death by her mother, Naomi Prather. Survivors include her sons, Jermal Grimes and Brandon Grimes; four grandchildren; father, Joe (Mary) Prather, all of Chattanooga; brother, Devin (Ingrid) Prather of Athens, TN; sisters, Anita Prather-MacAfee, Sherrie (Earl) Moss, both of Chattanooga, and Shirleen (James) Stevenson of Woodland, GA; uncle, Roscoe Brown, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; aunt, Rachel Brown-Howe of Manchester, GA; loved like a daughter, Alice Tate; goddaughter, Pastor Letechia (Nigel) Ellis, special friend, Barbara Turner (Charles) Chappell; prayer circle dearest sisters in Christ, Minister Harriette Sills, Denise Heathington, Candice Martin, Vickki Holloway, Vanessa Bell, Linda Harris and Karen Thompson; a host of other relatives and friends. Pastor Corey D. Prather will serve as the eulogist.
