I will forever remember how your face always glowed at the mention of her name, and hers yours. Our paths crossed a year ago at a Goodymob Concert, I on my crutches, she in her chair, and guess what, WE HAD A BALL... She, proud as a peacock, with that glow, immediately said my name, followed with, "you remember me, I'm Melba's daughter ."
Good job Mama, Melba Kelly, 40 plus years later, the world and I could still experience the love, respect, and adoration a daughter, Stephanie, had for her mother Melba.

I remember Stephanie from Brainerd high my last year there. I took only one class with her but she was always quiet and reserved! I worked with her mom Ms. Kelly years ago at Avondale headstart up until she got sick. Saw Stephanie a couple of times after that. She hadnt changed and still looked the same. May God continue to keep her mom and family lifted up during this diificult time!
