Stencial Lee Parrish, Jr., 50, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024, in a local hospital. He was born December 28, 1973, in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Stencial Lee Parrish, Sr. and Gloria Jean Henderson. He was educated in the Chattanooga Public Schools and attended Kirkman Technical High School. Stencial was employed by Republic Parking for many years.
Among those who preceded Stencial in death include his father, Stencial Lee Parrish, Jr.; his grandparents, Jessie Henderson, Katherine Henderson, Virginia Parrish, and Clyde Parrish, Sr.; brother, Vencial Crutcher; and sister, LaVerne Ann Parrish.
On Thursday, December 19, 2024, at the age of 50 years old, Stencial passed away in Erlanger Medical Center. Cherishing his memories include his wife of 14 years, Tulai Parrish; sons, Cornelius Parrish, Orlando Scotland, Jeremiah Scotland, Joshua Parrish, and Christian Parrish; daughters, Quolesha Parrish, LuCretia Scotland, Talaya Parrish, and Aliyah Parrish, all of Chattanooga, TN; five grandchildren; mother, Gloria Jean Parrish of Chattanooga, TN; grandmother, Gerline Henderson of Chattanooga, TN; brother, Markee Crutcher of Ooltewah, TN; sisters, Vanessa Parrish Rozzell, Yolanda Brown, Kristie (Tim) Russell, and Waunique Parrish (Flossie), all of Chattanooga, TN; uncles, Michael (Rita) Henderson and Gerome (Mary) Parrish, both of Chattanooga, TN; aunt, Vivian (Larry) Hart of Chattanooga, TN; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives; best friends, Alonzo (Sherry) Freeman, Marcus Rivers; and many other friends. Stencial will lie-in-state on Friday, December 27, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 12 noon in chapel of Taylor Funeral Home. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
