Solomon Lamar Pierce, Jr., 51, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2022. He attended Howard High School. Solomon was formerly employed by Wheland Foundry. He was preceded in death by his father, Solomon Lamar Pierce, Sr.; granddaughter, Chloe Robinson; sister, Larkecha Pierce; 12 aunts and uncles. Survivors include his son, Solomon Lamar Pierce, III; daughters, Symonne Pierce and her sister, Sydney Hampton and Somaya Pierce, all of Chattanooga; 7 grandchildren, Jersey Mack, Cortney Robinson, Jr., Jaleah Russell, Stori Pierce, Calvin Robinson, Charlotte Robinson, and Solomon Pierce, IV; mother, Angie Pierce of Chattanooga; brother, Cedric Pierce of Albany, NY; sister, Shetonia Pierce of Chattanooga; uncles, Robert McWhorter of Tennessee and Tyrone McWhorter of Cincinnati, OH; aunts, Deborah McWhorter, Gloria Pierce and Virginia Pierce, all of Chattanooga; nieces, Angie Pierce and Larkecha Pierce; nephews, Latevious Pierce, Coebe Davis and Corion Davis; devoted companion, Cassandra Jones; several cousins; other relatives and friends.
