Shirley Lee's Obituary
Shirley M. Lee, 79, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2020 in a local hospital. She attended Carver High School and was a 1960 graduate of Howard High School. She earned her cosmetology degree from Chattanooga State College. Shirley was employed at Pat’s Beauty Salon. She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clay and Eunice Poe, brothers, Jimmy Poe and Larry Poe; nephews, Terrance Poe and Tony Poe, Jr. Survivors include her devoted son, Kenneth (Pamela) Moore, Sr. of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Jakena Moore, Kimberly Greer, and Kenneth Moore, Jr.; 14 great- grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Anthony Poe, Sr. and Gregory Poe, both of Chattanooga, Tony Poe, Sr. of Gadsen, AL, and Willie Cullin of Scottsboro, AL; sisters, Linda (Charles) Roberts and Sandra Moore, both of Chattanooga; aunts, Geneva Campbell and Daisy Poe, both of Scottsboro; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives; special friends, Loretta Hicks, Kathy Patrick, Ann Rice, Alice Cameron, Sonya Moore, Betty Cheatom, Lebron and Jamie Paris, and Brother Claude and Emma Turner. Brother Clyde Turner will be giving the discourse.
