Sheryl Denise Roberts' Obituary
Sheryl Roberts, 56, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, April 26, 2024, in a Murfreesboro hospital. She attended Kirkman High, excelling in math, drafting, and commercial art, and maintained straight A’s in algebra. She loved singing and composing songs, writing poetry and rap songs, and enjoyed basketball, football, karate and swimming. She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was baptized on August 31, 2002. She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Ann Johnson-Glenn; father, Roger Glenn, Sr.; grandfather, Arthur Eugene Glenn; paternal grandmother, Viola Glenn; maternal grandmother, Catherine Johnson; uncles, Jean Glenn and George Glenn; aunt, Ruby Mae Glenn. Survivors include her sons, Edward Roberts, Jr. and Donovan Roberts, both of Flintstone, GA; daughter, Cherie Roberts, of Dalton, GA; four grandchildren, Landon Clark, Liam Lira, Luno Lira, and Layla Lira, all of Dalton; stepmother, Eva Glenn; brothers, Roger Glenn, Jr., of Murfreesboro, TN, and Dedric Glenn, of Chattanooga; sister, Teresa Renee Ward, of Atlanta, GA; aunt, JoAnn Glenn Watkins, of Atlanta; nieces, Sharnee Glenn and Deandra Glenn; nephews, Jonathan Ward and Cameron Glenn; great-cousin, Patricia Ann Glenn-Beck; a host of cousins and friends. Sheryl’s memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Brother Sherman Ralph giving the discourse.
