Shedesha LáNess Hudson 45, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022. She was a 1995 graduate of Hixon High School. She received her Associate degree from Chattanooga State Community College. Shedesha was a member of St. John United Methodist Church where she worked in the Children’s/Youth Department and was very active in the Upward Basketball Program. She was employed as a Mammography Technician at Erlanger East Hospital. Shedesha was preceded in death by her stepfather, Clarence Lee; grandparents, Eugene Wheelous, John Jones, Sr., Edna Moorer, Louise Lee, and Henry Lee; stepsister, Deanna Ray; aunt, Yvonne Moorer; uncles, Jimmie Moorer and Jesse Jones; cousin, Stacy Hayes. Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Bobby S. Hudson; sons, Jordan Hudson, Jaylon Hudson, and Kedrick Varnell; daughter, Alisha Hudson; 6 grandchildren; father, John (Alice) Jones, Jr.; mother, Betty (Reginald) Ray; grandmother, Lucille Jones, all of Chattanooga; brothers, Shárone (Holly) Jones, John William Jones, III, both of Chattanooga, LeMaris Lee of Tacoma, WA, and Antonio (Kelly) Lee of Murfreesboro, TN; sisters, Jamerra (Brandon) Hughes, Melvina LaShawn Lee, Lakicia Burton, and Sanderkica Crowder, all of Chattanooga; uncles, James (Mary) Moorer of Hinesville, GA and Raymond Harrison of Chattanooga; aunts, Marlena Moorer, Jackie Daniels, Betty Harrison, Beverly Glover, all of Chattanooga, Olivia Brown of Columbus, MS, and Daisy Mitchell of Chattanooga; special nephew, Alandis R. Sawyer; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; two devoted best friends, Tisha Hart-Bailey, Emanuel Roland and many other friends.
