Sharon Louise Collins' Obituary
Sharon Collins, 62, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2024, in a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her father, Reese Collins; brothers, Eddie Reese Collins and Michael Murphy; sister, Barbara Jean Watkins. Those left to cherish her memories include her daughters, Tansy Townsend and Oshusa Smith, both of Chattanooga, TN; 2 grandchildren; mother, Rose Lee Collins; brothers, Maurice (Kenyatta) Adams, of Birmingam, AL, and William “Tooky” (Corine) Murphy, of Chattanooga; sister-in-law, Shelby Collins, of Chattanooga; uncles, William (Faith) Collins, Wayne (Karla) Collins, and Kevin Hubbard, all of Rome, GA; aunts, Madel Foster, Helen Jones, Blondie (John) Johnson, and Ann Champman, all of Chattanooga, and Mary Tucker, of LaGrange, GA and Ruth (Horce) Morgan, of Rome, GA; a host of devoted nieces and nephews. Sharon will lie-in-state on Monday, December 16th, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon in the chapel with Pastor Brandon Malone as Eulogist. Burial in Forest Hills Cemetery.
