Shantel Lee Hooks, 45, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019 in a local hospital. He was preceded in death by his father, Jessie Lee Oliver, Sr. Survivors include his children, Tyshawn Hooks, Shantel Hooks, Jr., and Zikeria Johnson; stepson, Jaziel Witherow; mother, Retheo Murphy; stepfather, Rueben Joe Murphy; brothers, Everage Holloway, III, Jessie Lee Oliver, Jr., and Dante Peoples; sisters, Shreda Peoples and Jessica Peoples; ex-wife, LaShell Witherow; stepmother, Linda Peoples; cousins, Dedora Cassandra “Sandy” Swanson, Peggy Oliver, Ralph Oliver, Jr., Ralphena Oliver, and Rebecca Mason; a host of other relatives and friends.
