Sandra Vance's Obituary
Sandra Denise Vance, 70, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2026, at her residence. She was born July 13, 1955 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Ocie and Lousy Chapman, Sr. She was a 1975 graduate of Howard High School.
Sandra was formerly employed by DuPont and Buster Brown.
Among those who preceded her in death include her father, Ocie Chapman, Sr.; mother, Lousy Rose Chapman; brother, Ocie Chapman, Jr.; sisters, Shirley McColley and Shirlene McColley; brother, Henry Robinson; and nephew, Michael McColley.
Survivors include her sons, David F. Vance and Marvin D. Vance, both of Chattanooga; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Rodney “Bo” McColley and Roddrick “Buck” McColley, both of Chattanooga; sisters, Tonnette (Charles) Reed, Yvonne (Larry) Daniel, both of Chattanooga, and Kirby McColley of Oklahoma City, OK; aunt, Bobby Robinson of Cincinnati, OH; several nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
Sandra will lie-in-state on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
