Sandra Cheryl Muckle's Obituary
Sandra Cheryl Muckle “Brown Sugar”, 66, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2025, in a local healthcare facility. She was born July 12, 1958, in Chattanooga, Tennessee to John Muckle, Jr. and Etta Ware. She was educated in the Chattanooga Public Schools where she attended Orchard Knob Elementary and was a 1977 graduate of City High School. Sandra was employed by Erlanger Medical Center as a Manager in the Food Industry Department.
Sandra was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charlie and Jessie Ware; parents, John Muckle, Jr. and Etta Ware Muckle; brother, Shelton Muckle (Ed); uncles, Bobby Ware, Ray Ware, and Bernard Ware, Jr.; nephew, Maurice Harvey.
She is survived by her sister, Tina Muckle; brothers, John Muckle, III (Theresa Ann Hester), Martimus Bobby Muckle, and Micheal Muckle (Michelle Muckle); aunts, Janet Moore, Elizabeth Ware, and Emma Jean Ware; nieces, LaDainta Chambliss, Christina Colbert, Karen (Cecil) Drake, Tammy Parker, Sandra Muckle, and LaVanya Muckle; nephews, Martimus Muckle, Jr., Micheal Muckle, Mark Muckle, and Myes Muckle; special friend, Delia Peterson; and a host of cousins and other friends.
Sandra will lie-in-state on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be Monday, May 5, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in Highland Memorial Gardens.
