Mr. Samuel Lee Davis' Obituary
Samuel Lee Davis, Jr., 74, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2019 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ola Mae Davis; his long-time companion of 35 years, Bernice Cuffee; brother, Joe Davis; sister, Loretta Davis. Survivors include his daughter, Prenella Davis Bake of New York; stepsons, Samuel Wattree of New York, Anthony Brooks of Chattanooga, and Joe Thomas (Wanda) Brooks of New York; stepdaughters, Joeann (Tyrone) King and Marie Pickette, both of Chattanooga; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 18 step-grandchildren; 41 step-great-grandchildren; 19 step-great-great-grandchildren; father, Samuel Davis, Sr.; mother, Willie Mae Phillips; sister, Susan Chambers of New York; loving friend, Tony Florence; a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Ronald B. Cook, Sr. as the eulogist.
