Sam Watkins' Obituary
Sam Watkins, 69, of Chattanooga, transitioned to his eternal rest Friday, December 4, 2020 in a local hospital. He was a 1969 graduate of Riverside High School. He was a member of Brother’s by Choice and formerly employed with STS. Sam was a member of Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam Richardson; mother, Louise Watkins; and sister, Elizabeth Pope. Survivors include his daughter, Kenya Watkins; grandson, Kendall Solomon; sisters, Charlene Williams and Gloria Jarrett; a host of other relatives and friends. Pastor Anthony Williams will serve as the eulogist.
