Ruby Lee Christopher, 94, of Rossville, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2020 in a local healthcare facility. She was educated in the Walker County School System. She was a faithful member of the East Third Street Church of Christ. Ruby retired from Rossville Mills after many years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Christopher; father, Charlie Powell; and mother, Addie L. Palmore. Survivors include her children, Roger (Freda) Christopher of Ringgold, GA, Bonita (Frankcel) Woodson of Glen Allen, VA, Larry Christopher of Chattanooga, and Steve (Hazel) Christopher of Rossville, GA; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Rosetta Akins of Chattanooga; devoted nieces, Sykenya Buchanan and Dean Powell; devoted East Third Street Church of Christ “Church Family”; and a host of other relatives and friends. Brother John R. Taylor, Sr. will give the words of comfort.
