Roy Smith, Jr.'s Obituary
Roy Smith, Jr., 73, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020 in a local hospital. He attended Booker T. Washington High School and Hope City Church. Roy was employed with Shaw Industries as a Forklift Driver. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Denise Goins. Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Effie Smith; son, Eddie Worbington of Chattanooga; daughter, Reda Miller of Fort Oglethorpe, GA; and a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brothers; sisters; uncles; aunts; other relatives and friends. Memorial service will be Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Charlie Walker as the eulogist.
