Roy Morgan's Obituary
Roy “Truck” Morgan, 74, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020 at his residence. He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Orchard Knob Baptist Church. He was a 1964 graduate of Howard High School. He attended Chattanooga State Community College, where he studied Business Administration with an Accounting emphasis. Roy retired as a Sergeant from the U.S. Army and retired from Liquid Air Corporation. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Levora Morgan; brothers, David, Robert “Sonny”, Willie James “Jamie”, James Charles “Nookie”, and Willie “Slick”; and sister, Mary “Bootsie” Greene. He leaves to cherish his memories, Anne Morgan of Chattanooga; children, Kelvin Morgan of Atlanta, GA, Kellie “Shon” Morgan of Nashville, TN, and Marcus Morgan of Chattanooga; sisters, Jeanette McShan of Chattanooga and Dorothy Jordan of Chicago, IL; sister-in-law, Patricia Crawford; grandchildren, Kyle, Kaylen and Marcus, Jr.; several nieces; nephews; cousins; godchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Minister Kellie Morgan will be the eulogist.
