Rosemary Stephens, 77, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022, in a local healthcare facility. She was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Gladys Stephens; father, Johnny Phillips; brothers, Joe “Snug” Askew and Jerry Cooley; sister, Gayla Suttles. Survivors include her son, Ivan (Nikita) Phillips of Chattanooga; daughter, Frankie Phillips-Martin of Stockbridge, GA; granddaughters, Ebonee (Martin) Cottrell, Essence Phillips, Aaliyah Parrish, and Ivy Phillips; grandsons, Charles Phillips, Antonio Phillips, Michael Phillips, and Jalon Phillips; 17 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Minister Robert (Dr. Emma) Cooley, Willie (Wanda) Cooley, James (Michelle) Cooley, Jonathon Holloway, and Gary Stephens; sister, Mary Hayden; special friends, Lynn Parrish-Lewis, Latisha Richardson-Francis, Synethia “Neat” Owens; and a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Minister Frankie Phillips-Martin will serve as the eulogist.
