Rosemary Sammons' Obituary
Rosemary Lavonne “Mae” Sammons, 69, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020 in a local hospital. She was a 1968 graduate of Howard High School. She was a retired veteran of the United States Army Reserves. Rosemary was a member of New United Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Ella Coleman; grandparents, Leonard Moore, Freddie and Ebb Foy. Survivors include her son, Robert (Kim) Daniel of Atlanta, GA; daughters, Pamela Sammons and Jami (Vincent) Turner, both of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Chasmin Johnson, Kristopher (Domenica) Griffin, Sr., and Victoria Turner; great-grandchildren, Kristopher Griffin, Jr. and one on the way; sister, Theresa Robinson-Young of Houston, TX; uncle, Edward Foy, Sr. of Chattanooga; aunt, Frances Martin of Chattanooga; devoted friend, Bernice Davis; special niece, Danielle Tucker; and a host of other relatives and friends.
