Rosa Lee Truss 's Obituary
Rosa Lee Truss, 79, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, November 15, 2019 in a local hospital. She attended Moton High School. She was a member of New Monumental Baptist Church where she served on the Progressive Ministry and in the choir. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Ella Hicks; brother, Willie Hicks, Sr. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Robert Truss, Sr; sons, Robert (Rahsheda) Truss, Jr. of Canton, MS, Tiberius Truss, Sr., and Dexter Truss, both of Chattanooga; daughters, Angela Whitson of Chattanooga and Shelia Truss of Calera, Al; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Johnny (Fonda) Hicks of Spotsylvania, VA; sisters, Sarah (Lloyd) Winters of Bessemer, Al and Mary Bryant of Irondale, AL; a host of other relative and friends. Pastor Gregory Odom will serve as the eulogist.
