Roosevelt Toney, 84, of Chattanooga, departed this life peacefully on Monday, September 5, 2022, surrounded by his daughters. He was born December 22, 1937, in Huntsville, Alabama. He was a faithful member of East Third Street Church of Christ. Roosevelt was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta C. Toney of 50 years; 6 brothers; 5 sisters. Roosevelt leaves to cherish his memories: daughters, Tamara D. Toney of Atlanta, GA, Holly Toney of Chattanooga, and Stacy Toney of Locust Grove, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Bro. John R. Taylor, Sr. will serve as the eulogist.
