Ronnie Reagan Shelton's Obituary
Ronnie Reagan Shelton was born on January 18, 1951, in Cowan, Tennessee to Alice Featherstone and Willie Smith. Ronnie transitioned to eternal peace on May 24, 2026, surrounded by his family and friends. Ronnie was a loving brother, devoted father, proud grandfather, caring uncle, and loyal friend whose strength, wisdom, and kindness touched many lives. Ronnie was also a proud Army veteran, who served his country honorably and carried that same dedication and resilience in all aspects of his life.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Featherstone; sister, Dorothy Clark; and son, Ronnie Shelton, Jr.
Ronnie leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Jenny Phan, Labron Hill, and Charlie White; siblings, Willa (Jean) McCalin, Elizabeth Floyd, David (Vicki) Shelton and Arthur (Gloria) Shelton; grandchildren, Michael Phan, Veronica (Pumpkin) Jacobs, Terry Si, Dustin Berry, Geremiah Light, Aniah Bain, Bronson, Justin and Shannon Hill, Tracy Tran, Camia-Rose White, Cameron-Charlie White, and Dillon-Wayne White; nephew, Elbert McClain; son-in-law, Tam Nguyen; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Ronnie was incredibly proud of his family and loved them all dearly. He will be remembered for his loving heart, sense of humor, strength, and the way he always showed up for family and friends. His presence brought comfort and laughter, and his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Ronnie will lie-in-state on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 11:30 in the Chapel with Pastor A. J. Holman as the Eulogist. Burial in Chattanooga National Cemetery. A celebration of Ronnie’s life will be held on Monday, June 1, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 2828 St. Lawrence Road in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Family and friends are invited to gather in honor of his life, legacy, and memory.
