Ronald Dejuan Gipson's Obituary
Ronald DeJuan Gipson, 48, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, September 29, 2025, in a local hospital. He was born on November 28, 1976, to Ronald Benning and Paulette Gipson.
Ronald was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Willie and Gwendolyn Gipson; paternal grandparents, Edward and Christine Benning; and uncle, Yasmin Gipson.
Those left to cherish his memories include his fiancée, Carmitta Flanagan; daughter, Denise Flanagan of Chattanooga; grandchild, AdaJah Nixson; father, Ronald Benning; mother, Paulette Gipson, both of Chattanooga; sisters, Sonya Gipson of Atlanta, GA, Lakeisha Benning, and Mary Benning, both of Chattanooga; special niece, Sealkita Gipson of Chattanooga; uncles, Vincent (Mary) Gipson of Chattanooga and Michael Benning of Tampa, FL; aunts, Annette Mays, Tanya Benning, and Angela (Johnny) McKibben, all of Chattanooga; a host of other relatives and friends.
Ronald will lie-in-state on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 12 noon in the Chapel with Pastor Charlie Walker as the Eulogist. Burial in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
