Robert Winfred Langston's Obituary
Robert Winfred Langston, 75, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, February 14, 2025, in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born February 4, 1950, to parents, Robert and Emma Langston in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was educated at Howard High School. He relocated to Louisville, Kentucky, later in life, where he passed away.
Among those who preceded Robert in death include his parents, Robert and Emma Langston; grandparents, Herbert and Callie Langston; Riley and Kate Hinton; and his brother Dwight Langston.
Cherishing Robert’s memories are his sisters, Cheryl Smith and Vanessa Langston; aunt, Peggy Donaldson; nephews, Eric (Holly) Hicks, Wesley Hicks, Ricus (Amanda) Langston, and Eddie (Latrice) Collins; nieces, Latoya (Ronnie) Parker, Nakia Jackson, and Shanice (Cordaro) Ervin; several great-nieces and nephews; other relatives and dear friends. We hope that we will see him again someday, for it would heal and mend our hearts in ways unexplainable.
Robert will lie-in-state on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel.
