Robert U. Garrett's Obituary
Robert Ugene Garrett, 82, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023, in the Hospice Care Center. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was employed as a Supervisor for United Airlines for many years. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Mildred Garrett; sister, Dora Garrett; and five brothers. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Nelda H. Garrett; sisters, Betty Phillips and Frances Jenkins, both of West Virginia; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; special friends, Barbara Robinson, Marcus (LaToya) Robinson, Jimmy Wright and family, and Scott Bradley. Graveside service will be Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at 12:30 p.m. in Chattanooga National Cemetery. Arrangements are by Taylor Funeral Home of Chattanooga, Inc.
