Robert Darrell Eaton's Obituary
Robert Darrell Eaton, 40, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024. He attended Brainerd High School as a 2001 graduate before continuing his education at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Management. He was employed by the Tennessee Department of Human Services as a field supervisor for 17 years. He was a member of the Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church where he served in the choir and the men’s ministry. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Eaton, Jr.; grandfather, Daniel Eaton Sr.; grandparents, Doris and Charles Baker, and grandmother, Annie Mae Tucker. Those left to cherish his memories include his parents, Pastor Ronald and First Lady Mary Ann Tucker; grandmother, Anna Rose Eaton; grandfather, Odell Gaines, Sr., all of Chattanooga; brother, Daniel (Keynia) Eaton; nephew, Jamir Eaton; niece, Aiyah Eaton, all of Smyrna, TN; sister, Tameka Tucker of Chattanooga; godsons, Cameron Sanders and Byron Sanders, Jr.; very special friends, Bill Lindsay, Audrik Hill, Byron Sanders, and Jonathan Clemons; and a host of relatives and friends. Robert will lie-in-state on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon in the chapel with Pastor Ronald Tucker as the eulogist. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery
