Robert Leslie Crawford, III's Obituary
Robert "Tre" Leslie Crawford, III, 20, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2025, in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born Thursday, October 28, 2004. “Tre” was a sophomore student attending Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee. He was a Communications major with a focus on Sports Journalism. He was a beloved veteran employee of East Nashville burger restaurant The Pharmacy for 5 years where the staff says he "kept the place full of laughs and smiles."
“Tre's” beautiful bright smile, charm, loving heart, wittiness, silliness, and caring spirit will be missed tremendously by those who call him son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend.
He was preceded in death by his baby brother, Nasir “Sir” Petty.
“Tre” is survived by his loving parents, father, Robert Crawford Jr. and mother, Lynnitra Dunton; sister, Makerria Felix; grandmother, Patricia “Granny” Dunton and Sebra “Gmama” Owens; grandfathers, Jeffrey Dunton and Robert “Man” Crawford Sr; and a host of devoted family members and friends to cherish his memories.
He will lie-in-state on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon in the Chapel with Brother John R. Taylor, Sr. as the Eulogist. Burial in Highland Memorial Gardens.
