I remember Rickey in the Shepherd Community.He was always a “go getter”,and lived a basic life for the most part.My last time seeing him up close and personal was when he and many church members including pastor John Taylor Jr. came to Memorial Hospital and sung hymns and spiritual songs as my mother “Carolyn G. Mathis Clay” was spending her last hours alive on this earth.Rickey was there and I will always remember these moments.Rickey turned his life around and became a better individual before his passing.My sincere condolences to his family on his sudden passing.
