Richard Gearing's Obituary
Richard Gearing, 71, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at his residence. He worked from Chattanooga Housing Authority. Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Ella Louise Gearing; brothers, Donald Gearing and Nathaniel Gearing; and sisters, Phyllis Gearing and Angela Gearing Appleberry. Survivors include his wife Patricia Gearing; sons, Rodrell Daniel, Sr., Dekedrick Gearing, Richard Jojuan Gearing, and Kadrian Gearing; daughter, Natosha Stone; 18 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Gwendolyn Gearing Jones; special friends, Tommy Colvin and George E. Woodruff, Jr.; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. George E. Woodruff, Jr. will serve as the eulogist.
