Reginald Augustine Cranford, Sr., 71, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at his residence in Birmingham, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his father, St. Augustine Cranford, Jr.; mother, Beatrice Evelyn Cranford; sister, Tracye Ann Cranford. Survivors include his sons, Kacy Cranford, Shawn Cranford, and Reginald Cranford, II; grandchildren, Kiya Cranford, Caylan Cranford, Oliva Cranford, and Noriah Cranford; brothers, Michael (Mary) Cranford, Sr., Jerry (Bernadine) Cranford, both of Chattanooga, and Patrick Cranford of Reno, NV; sisters Shireen Ragland, Debra Bumpass, and Alenisa (Marvin) Smith, all of Chattanooga; aunts, Eleanor Harris of Chattanooga and Shirley Presley of Louisville, KY; special friends, Barbara “Barbie” Swift and Evan Cook; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. There will be no service.
