Reginald Stanley Capers' Obituary
Reginald Stanley Capers, 64, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, November 2, 2020 in a local hospital. He was a 1974 graduate of Howard High School. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Morehouse College and his Master’s degree from Tusculum University. Reginald was a member of New Emmanuel Baptist Church where he served as a Trustee and sang in the Male Chorus. He was employed with Blue Cross Blue Shield as a Computer Programmer for many years. He was a very active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated. Reginald was preceded in death by his grandmother, Elnora Capers Cook; stepfather, Willie Parks and father, Weldon McBee. Survivors include his devoted mother, Williette Parks of Chattanooga; brother, Dennis McBee of New Albany, IN; sisters, devoted Ramona Parks of Chattanooga and Denise Parks-Thompson of Detroit, MI; special cousin, Barbara Jackson; several nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Pastor Terrance Hannah is the officiant and Pastor Kenneth Simpson is the eulogist.
