Raulston Eugene Allen's Obituary
Raulston Eugene Allen, 67, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, September 2, 2019 at his residence. He was a 1969 graduate of Howard High School. Raulston received his A.A. degree from Chattanooga State. He was formerly employed by TVA and was a former member of Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church. Raulston was preceded in death by his parents, Percy and Louise Allen; sisters, Rubystiene Gustus, Shirley Fairbanks, Loretta Nash, and Sandra Powell; brothers, Percy “Jap” Allen, III and Jerry Allen. Survivors include his former wife of 14 years and dearest friend, Valencia Allen; daughters, Sheena Allen of Chattanooga and Shanel Allen of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchild, Callie Clark; brothers, Carlton (Deloris) Allen, Charles Stoudemire, Percy Stoudemire, and Calvin (Patricia) Stoudemire, all of Chattanooga; sisters, Brenda (Herbert) Dallis, Linda Darby, and Barbara Allen, all of Chattanooga; uncle, Jimmy (Linda) Allen of Chattanooga; aunt, Willena Sampler of Nashville; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
He will lie-in-state Friday, September 6, 2019 after 12:30 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
