Mrs. Raquel Bunnie McBride's Obituary
Raquel Bunnie McBride, 43, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019 in a local healthcare facility. She was a graduate of Howard High School and a member of Olivet Baptist Church. She was formerly employed by Chattanooga Times-Free Press. Raquel was preceded in death by her father, Curtis McBride, Jr.; grandfather, Curtis McBride, Sr.; and grandmother, Annie Mae Green. Survivors include her spouse of 11 years, Coco Gavros; daughters, Alexis Simmone McBride Paris and Alyssa Sydney McBride; stepson, Maurice Berl Gavros; mother, Shirley Ann Green, all of Chattanooga; sister, Fontella “Tasia” Green-Jones of Gadsden, AL; a host of aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Pastor William Elston, Jr. will serve as eulogist. Burial on Monday, October 28, 2019 at 10 a.m. in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
