Ralph Alexander Boston Sr.'s Obituary
Ralph Alexander Boston, Sr., 72, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023, in a local hospital. He attended Howard High School, where he was a member of the Howard High School Marching 100, Coachmen Band, and Silver Coach Express. Ralph was a veteran of the United States Army and received an honorable discharge at the end of his service time. He was formerly employed by Moccasin Bend. He was Ralph was preceded in death by his daughter, Jacqueline Boston. Survivors include his wife, Lizzie Boston; sons, Ralph Boston, Jr., Rodney Boston, and Marcus Boston, all of Chattanooga; daughter, Dia LaTese Boston of Nashville; 16 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; mother, Ethel Hardwick of Chattanooga; brothers, Marty (Cynthia) Boston and Kelvin Hardwick, both of Chattanooga; sisters, Sherrilyn Fears of Ooltewah and Theresa Boston of Chattanooga; uncle, William Boston of Chattanooga; 4 nephews; 1 niece; several cousins; other relatives and friends. Inurnment for Ralph will be Monday, August 27, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
