Priscilla Mae Robinson's Obituary
Priscilla Mae “Big Mama” Billups Robinson, 89, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020 in the Hospice Care Center. She was the Proprietor of Herman’s Soul Food Restaurant. She retired after 37 years from Orange Grove Center. Priscilla was a member of New Enon Baptist Church where she served on the Mother’s Board. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Robinson; parents, Fletcher and Lucy Billups; brothers, Bobby Billups and Robert Billups; and best friend, Geraldine Mays. Survivors include her sons, Lewis (J. Denise) Richards, Sr. of Chattanooga, Michael Billups of Knightdale, NC, David (Delores) Richards, and Rodney (DiAnna) Billups, both of Chattanooga; daughters, Sharon McClendon and Jewel Billups, both of Chattanooga; 16 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Billups; sisterlike, Elizabeth Boyd; special friend, Earline Perry; and a host of other relatives and friends. Pastor Andrew Bullard, III will serve as the eulogist.
