Phyllis Monique Thompson's Obituary
Phyllis Monique Thompson, 36, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, May 6, 2024, at her residence. She was a 2006 graduate of Howard High School. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. Phyllis was preceded in death by her mother, Katherine Taylor; father, Paul Thompson, Jr.; grandmothers, Phyllis Bailey and Wilma Robinson; grandfathers, Glen Bailey, Sr., Paul Thompson, Sr., and Therman Byrd. Survivors include her sons, Jaquan Thompson and Damian Thompson; loving aunt and guardian from youth into adulthood, Weinshana Bailey; brothers, Johnnie McMillon and Jeremy McMillon; sister, Melissa McMillon; uncles, Glen Bailey, Jr. and Sherman Byrd; aunts, Carol Pilcher, Pamela Sterns, Dewanda Taylor, Mildred Taylor, Bonita Thompson, Anietta Billups, and Shelia Cameron; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives; best friends, Weinshana, Dazia, Aliyah, Vinesha, and many others. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor James Foster as the eulogist.
