Phyllis Yolanda Rutledge's Obituary
Phyllis Yolanda Rutledge, 62, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022, in a local hospital. She was formerly employed by Erlanger Medical Center. She was a member of Rock Island Baptist Church. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Rutledge, Jr.; parents, Jackie and Helen McGinnis; and sister, Katherine Milner. Survivors include her sons, Garland Rutledge, Don Quan Rutledge, and Clifford Rutledge, III; daughter, Laura (Jeremy) Suggs, all of Chattanooga; 3 grandchildren; brothers, Garland (Vivian) McGinnis of Newport News, VA and LeVander (Arlene) McGinnis of Little Rock, AR; sister, LeZandra (Oliver) Sears of Oklahoma City, OK; uncles, Arlandis Roberson of Chattanooga and Ernest (Carolyn) Roberson of Atlanta; aunts, Vivian (John) Dennienson of Los Angeles, CA and Geraldine (Charles) Powell of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Brother John R. Taylor, Sr. is the eulogist.
