Phillip Lebron Grayson's Obituary
Phillip L. Grayson, 68, was born on January 11, 1957. He was the fourth child born out of eight. At a young age, Phillip was baptized at New Monumental Baptist Church. Phillip attended Chattanooga (City) High School and received his GED in 1973. Later in life, he married Connie Dismuke.
Among those who preceded Phillip in death include his parents, Quentella Grayson, Sr. and Dwartha Lewis-Grayson; brother, Quentella Grayson, Jr.; sister, Dwaitha Joyce-English.
On March 11, 2025, Phillip passed away surrounded by close family and friends. He leaves to cherish his memories his children, Antwone Rendarus Grayson, Lebron Billups and Shanna Nicole Grayson; grandchildren, Alexandria Greene, Asia Grayson and Aniya Grayson; brother, Timothy (Consuelo) Grayson; sisters, Monteen Mathis, Jacqueline (Ben) Bonds, Venessa Harris, and Arice (Maurice) Moore; a very dear friend, Vicki Cooper; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He will lie-in-state on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel with Pastor Alfred Johnson as the eulogist.
