Percy Lee Stoudemire's Obituary
Percy Lee Stoudemire, 72, of Chattanooga, departed this earthly life on Monday, August 22, 2022, at his residence. He was born January 6, 1950, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Percy was a 1968 graduate of Howard High School, served in the U.S. Air Force and worked several years with TVA, Sequoyah Nuclear Plant. He was preceded in death by his father, Percy Allen, Jr., mother, Bertha Stoudemire; brothers, Jerry Allen, Percy “Jap” Allen, and Raulston Allen, sisters, Sandra Kyles Powell, Shirley West Fairbanks, and Loretta Stoudemire Nash; sisters-in-law, Patricia Stoudemire and Delores Allen. He leaves to cherish his memories his brothers, Charles Stoudemire, Calvin Stoudemire, Carlton Allen, all of Chattanooga, and Harold (Mary) Phillips of Decatur, GA; sisters, Barbara Allen, Brenda (Herbert) Dallis, Linda Darby, all of Chattanooga, and Joyce McClain of Detroit, MI; sisters-in-law, Lizzie Allen and Irene Allen; uncle, Jimmie (Linda) Allen; as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, and cousins; devoted, life-long friends, Franklin Woods and Ervin Bonner George E. Woodruff, Jr. will serve as the eulogist.
