Pebbles Lashun Caldwell, 53, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024, in a local hospital. She was born on August 22, 1970, to William Smith and Barbara Garrett Jennings. Pebbles graduated from Howard High School in 1988. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Tommie Garrett, Sr. and Ozella Garrett; stepfather, Johnny D. Jennings; and uncle, Tommie Garrett, Jr. Survivors include her partner and caregiver, Antonio Cole; mother, Barbara Jennings; father, William (Freda) Smith; brothers, Marcus Smith, Jason (Danielle) Jennings, and Omar (Quentrece) Smith; stepsister, Jessica Jennings of Anchorage, Alaska; aunts; uncle; lifelong dedicated friend, DeVonda Jones; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Pebbles will lie-in-state on Monday, March 18, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Forest Hills Cemetery with Pastor Ron B. Cook, Sr. giving words of comfort.
