Paul Gene Moore's Obituary
Paul Gene Moore, 75, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, June 14, 2024, at his residence in Augusta, Georgia. He was of the Baptist faith. He retired from the United States Navy, and was a member of the Free Masons. He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Edd Moore; his mother, Betty Mary McCrary Moore; sister, Francis-May Davis; brother, Charlie Edd Moore, Jr.; sister, Annie-Louise Moore; brother, Harold F. Moore; and sister, Pauline Williams. Those left to cherish his memories include his wife of 31 years, Arlene Y. Moore; stepson, Stephen D. Graves, of Chattanooga; daughters, Kellee Jean Smith and Kia Octavia Moore, both of North Carolina; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brothers, Coy L. Moore, of Huntsville, AL, and Dayrel Moore, of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Paul will lie-in-state on Monday, June 24, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home, with graveside service to follow at 1:30 p.m. in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Pastor Charles Ford giving words of comfort.
