Patsy Morgan's Obituary
Patsy Ann Morgan, 64, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2025, in a local hospital. She was born October 21, 1960, in Chattanooga, Tennessee to J.C. Morgan, Sr. and Daisy Mae Hunter-Morgan. She was educated by the Chattanooga Public Schools where she attended Brainerd High School. Patsy was a member of the Rock Island Baptist Church. She was employed by Unum Insurance Company and retired after many years of service.
Among those who preceded Patsy in death include her parents, J.C. Morgan, Sr. and Daisy Mae Morgan; brothers, J.C. Jr. Morgan, H.B. Morgan, and Donald Morgan; sisters, Mary Morgan, Ollie Mae Morgan, Brenda Morgan, and Myrtis (Nathaniel) Jackson; niece, Anita Morgan and nephew, Joekarelyon Morgan; several cousins other relatives and friends.
Cherishing her memories include her son, Michael Morgan of Chattanooga; daughter, Delisa (Steven) Wadkins of Chattanooga; five grandchildren, Mckenzie Wadkins, Mysha Morgan, Steven Wadkins, Jr., Shakia (Chris) Wooden, and Kiayel Beasley; great-grandchild, Nova Chanel; sisters, Lenore Morgan and Gail Morgan, both of Chattanooga; sister-in-law; Barbara Morgan; lifelong companion, James Nalls; best friends, Sonya Harris and Terrilyn Aberthy; special friend, Renee Bruell; a host of other relatives and friends. Patsy will lie-in-state on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 12 noon in the chapel with Pastor Ron B. Cook, Sr. as the Eulogist. Burial in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
