Patricia Ann Stoudemire's Obituary
Patricia Ann Ashley Stoudemire, 69, was born on September 27, 1952, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at the age of 12 under the leadership of Pastor W. L. Flenoy. Patricia was a very faithful and dedicated member of Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. She had a love for God's Word, and she exemplified it in her daily walk and talk. Patricia was a member of the Senior Choir and Youth Ministry under the leadership of Pastor Jimmy Ingram. She served as a Librarian under the leadership of Pastor Reginald Poindexter. Patricia was a 1970 graduate of Howard High School. She attended McKenzie College majoring in business. She was formerly employed by Dupont, Haven’s Buffet, Kandy Kastle Day Care, 21st Century Child Care Development, and former owner of her own Daycare. She had a great passion and love for teaching children. Patricia was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Patterson, father, Edward (Eddie) Ashley, Grandmothers, Annette Ballard and Maybell Ashley, brother, Edward Ashley, Jr., father-in-law, Percy Allen, Sr., sisters-in-law, Sandra Powell, Loretta Nash, and Shirley Fairbanks, brothers-in-law, Al Hudson, Jerry Allen, Percy “Jap” Allen, III and Raulston Allen, Son-in-law, Brandon Johnson. She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory, her very, very devoted husband of 46 years, Calvin Stoudemire, two devoted children, Calvin Romaine Stoudemire and Stacy L. Stoudemire Johnson, five grandchildren, Malik Stoudemire, Deunta Sailes, Aujauia Stoudemire, Brianna Johnson, and Brandon “B.J.” Johnson; two devoted sisters, Angela Hudson and Valerie Poindexter; sister, Myra Jones, one brother, Michael Ashley, aunt, Margaret Ashley, mother-in-law, Bertha Stoudemire, sisters-in-law, Barbara Allen, Brenda (Herbert) Dallas, Linda Bonner, and Joyce McClain, Brothers-in-law, Percy Stoudemire, Charles Stoudemire, Carlton Allen, and Harold (Mary) Phillips, Uncle, Jimmy (Linda) Allen; nieces, Ava, Jalesa, Jasmine, Janice, Debra, Cheryl, Veronica, Angie, Tawanna, Stephanie, Courtney, and Drusilla, Nephews, Al, Reggie, Tracy, TaDarius, Lil’ Man, Daryl, Richard G., Derrick, Harry, Charlie, Richard W., Corey and Steve and a host of other relatives and friends.
