Patricia Ann Carr's Obituary
Patricia Carr, 81, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2024 in a local hospital. She was a graduate of Howard High School and was formerly employed by J.C. Towers. Patricia was deeply loved by many and was considered a mother figure within her community. She was known for her unwavering faith in God and her vibrant, upbeat personality. Patricia will always be remembered for her wit and soulful nature. She also worked for Pruett’s Food Store up until the store closed. Patricia was preceded in death by her mother, Cora Mae Carr; father, Eartha Louis Carr, Sr.; sisters, Pearly Mae (Joe) Potts, Gwendolyn (Jimmie) Peake, Addie Beatrice (Jesse) Strong, and Erma Jean Cornish; brothers, Roosevelt Carr, Willie Frank Carr, Richard Carr, and Eartha Louis Carr, Jr. Survivors include her daughters, Brenda Y. Carr and DeSonya Carr, both of Chattanooga; 3 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. There will be no service.
