Pastor Floyd Whiteside, Sr., 78, of Chattanooga, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, in a local hospital. He was the fifth of nine children born to Ollie and Julia Ann Whiteside. He was married to H. Anita Read Obituary
I extend my condolences to the family and friends of Pastor Floyd Whiteside. Pastor Whiteside was a staple of leadership in my neighborhood. He provided an example of what it means to live and walk in faith. He loved his family and he ensured that we, as kids at the time, knew the values of respecting and honoring those that pave the way. I really think the world of him and the example he set for us to emulate. I lit a candle and listened to his sermons non-stop throughout the weekend - and still going.
