Novella Hinton's Obituary
Novella Hinton, 74, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2023, in the Hospice Care Center. She was a 1967 graduate of Howard High School. Novella retired from Erlanger Medical Center after 35 years of service. She was a member of Rock Island Baptist Church, where she served on the Usher Board. Novella was preceded in death by her father, Baymon Hinton; mother, Rosa Lee Toland; and son, Patrick L. Ballard. Survivors include her daughters, Quentella Renay (Tony) Cannon of Cartersville, GA and Mayvis Michelle (Kevin) Stanley of Chattanooga; 9 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; sisters, Annie Ruth Lawson and Elizabeth Ford, both of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be Friday, October 27, 2023, at 12 noon at Taylor Funeral Home.
