Nathaniel Wiley's Obituary
Nathaniel Wiley, 62, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, April 8, 2022, in a Smyrna, Tennessee Hospital. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his mother, Eliza Wiley; father, Robert Earl Wiley; grandparents, Callie Davenport and Robert Davenport; parents who reared him, Willie D. and Annie Sue Owens; adopted brothers and sister, Rickey Jerome Owens, Jessie Owens, and Dorothy Ann Owens. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Faye Wiley; son, J. Erving Wiley of Nashville, TN; daughter, Callie Nicole Wiley of Kennesaw, GA; stepsons, Vernard Baker of Murfreesboro and Jeremiah Baker of Chattanooga; stepdaughter, Luerena Nicole Baker of Franklin, TN; 3 grandchildren, Aniya Smith, Lauren Baker, and Matthew Joseph; brothers, Larry Wiley of Chattanooga, Joe (Jennie) Troupe of Valdosta, GA, Melvin Owens, and Vernard (Johnnie) Owens, both of Chattanooga; sister, Linda (Robert) Hinton of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Joseph Troupe will serve as the eulogist.
