Nathan Edwards' Obituary
Nathan Jerrell Edwards, 31, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2020 in Panama City, Florida. He dedicated his life to serving other and giving encouragement to those who needed it. He was smart, witty, compassionate, loving, dedicated, endearing, and innovative. Nathan always saw the positive in people. He would brighten up the room with his smile and always made people laugh even when they didn’t want to. Nathan made an imprint on people’s hearts by encouraging them to achieve their best and believe they were made to do something great. He was very goal oriented and was in the beginning stages of investing in his first business. He was preceded in death by his mother, Tarva Candace Edwards-Avery; grandparents, Haywood and Yvonne Edwards, Jr.; grandmother, Sylvia Paris; and step-
grandfather, Charles Kenneth Toliver. Survivors include his fiancée, Miranda Steele, their 7 month-old son, Cairo Edwards, her 11-year old daughter, Audrey Myrick; his father and stepmother, Keldon and Kimberly Brown of Acworth, GA; step-grandparents, George Brown of Chattanooga and James and Doris Barnes of Baltimore, MD; brothers,
Jeremy Rivers of Chattanooga, Kahlil Brown and Kahri Brown, both of Atlanta; sisters, Amber Avery and Miranda Dunn, both of Chattanooga, and Kahlaia Brown of Atlanta; uncles, Haywood Edwards III, Lebron Edwards, both of Chattanooga, and Jerome Edwards of Washington, D.C.; aunts, Kimberly (John) Boyer, Chanel Brown, Shjonda Romero, all of Chattanooga, Vivian Edwards, and Geralyn Drew; cousins, Jessica, Trabion, Yvonne, Christian, JaCurrian, Tony, Temeka, Isaiah, Wesley, and Destiny; and a host of other cousins; relatives and friends. John Boyer will be giving words of comfort.
