Sister Myrtice Cross' Obituary
Sister Myrtice Cross, 77, of Chattanooga, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 21, 2021 in a local hospital. She was born on August 3, 1943. She attended Howard High School and later received her GED. Myrtice retired from the State of Tennessee. She was a faithful member of Greater Emmanuel Apostolic Church where she was baptized in Jesus' name and filled with the gift of the holy ghost. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Sarah Driver; brother JB Driver; and sister, Ida Mae Guyton. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband, Gary Cross; three daughters, Sarah Harris, Kelly Langston, and Terry Courtney; eight grandchildren, Tristian, Alton, Devin, Tracy, Makeisha, Johnathan, Jovontae, and Yushaunda; 15 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; Rodney Doss, Farrell Doss, Lasharon Blackwell, and Johnny Blackwell; close friends, Dennis Moore, Jasmine Harris, Wynter Hiett, and Javonia Smith; a host of other relatives and friends. She will be sorely missed; however, we know she is in a better place.
