It is with a heavy heart that I reflect on the time I had the privilege of working with one of my clients who truly left a lasting impression on me. She was more than just a name on my caseload—she was a light, a source of warmth, and someone who reminded me daily why I do this work.
From the very beginning, she carried a spirit that was both resilient and kind. Even when faced with challenges, she found a way to smile, to laugh, and to keep pushing forward. Her strength was quiet but powerful, and her presence had a way of uplifting those around her. She trusted me to walk alongside her during some of her most vulnerable moments, and that trust is something I will always hold close.
She wasn’t just someone I helped—she helped me, too. She reminded me to slow down, to listen more deeply, and to appreciate the small victories that often go unnoticed. Every conversation we shared meant something, and every step she took forward was a moment worth celebrating.
She will always hold a special place in my heart. Being able to support her was not just part of my job—it was an honor. Her memory will continue to inspire me to serve others with the same compassion, patience, and dedication that she deserved and so graciously received.
