Mylene Flippin's Obituary
Mylene Flippin, 66, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, March 6, 2026, in a local hospital. She was a 1977 graduate of Brainerd High School and received her Associate of Applied Science from Miller Mott.
Mylene was a member of Love Fellowship Baptist Church. She was the narrator for the Christman and Easter Programs which she enjoyed very much. She was a caregiver for family members whenever she was needed and she also helped out at the day care center whenever needed.
Among those who preceded Mylene in death include her mother, Flora Mae Murray Flippin; father, Charles W. Flippin, Sr.; sisters, Bettina Flippin and Regina Flippin Martin; brothers, Charles W. Flippin, Jr., Rashad Flippin, Lebrone Flippin, Ray Anthony Flippin, and Andre Dewayne Flippin.
Survivors include her sons, Marchant L. (Stephanie) Robinson and Demetreus (Amber) Witcher, both of Chattanooga; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Pauline Evans of Arkansas, Delores Lloyd of Chattanooga, Joyce (Morris) Dawson of Atlanta, GA, Agnes Brown, Nellie Jackson, and LaShanda Cummings, all of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
Mylene will lie-in-state on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel with Pastor Gerald O’Guinn as the Eulogist.
